Hello, I'm Yvonne!
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and an Approved Clinical Supervisor with 30+ years experience.
My Story
I am a warm and compassionate therapist who has been in the mental health field for more than thirty years. Working extensively with adolescents, adults, couples and families in the United States, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom.
My multicultural view of the world has come from my experience in inpatient and out-patient psychiatric program settings, community and family centers as well as within schools internationally. It has also been informed by my passion for travel, which has allowed me to encounter people in a multitude of different environments and to look at the world through many different lenses.

Since I moved to the United States more than two decades ago, I have worked in many organizations providing mental health and addiction therapy.

I have two master’s degrees — one from the University of London in Intercultural Education and the second from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Additionally I hold a Student Assistance Counselor (SAC) certification, a license to work with individuals with addictions (LCADC) and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS).

Apart from therapy and counseling, I offer parenting sessions and support, having two adult children myself, I understand the joys and challenges of parenting. I can provide drug testing services as well as written reports for school, college and work, evaluating the need for treatment.
